On Tuesday 25th April the cubs had their first summer evening away from the hut and met at Parklands walk by the Bat cave to enjoy the lighter nights having been stuck in the hall for the winter and going stir cray

They then was shown some of the foods that can be foraged this time of year including Wild Garlic which they picked and chopped up.  Having done this they made some   Pasta and pesto with wild garlic on a camp stove which they all enjoyed

Once they finished foraging our Young Leader (Sonny)run a wide game with them to finish the evening off

Hopefully now summer is here we can enjoy some more outdoor evenings
