At 224 North London Scouts, we’re committed to making scouting as inclusive as possible while caring for the environment. That’s why we’re launching our new uniform recycling project!
Reusing and upcycling uniforms and equipment helps us achieve these goals, and it’s a great way to support fellow scouts.
How to Donate Clothing and Equipment
We’re currently accepting the following uniform items as long as they are in good condition with no holes
- Beaver or Cub jumpers
- Scout or Explorer Scout shirts and blouses
- Uniform activity trousers
- Neckers and woggles
We’re also happy to take some activity clothing and equipment, including:
- Rucksacks and day bags
- Walking boots
- Waterproof coats and trousers
- welling boots
If you want to donate any items, please pass them on to a section leader, who will pass them on to Del, our Group Lead Volunteer. Del will then check and refresh everything so it’s ready for a new owner.
Your donations will make a big difference—thank you for your support!
