We welcome young people aged 4 to 14 from Highgate, East Finchley and the surrounding area.
We currently have spaces in Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs, subject to availability. Families interested in Scouts are also welcome to enquire.
Our sections
- Squirrel Scouts – ages 4 to 6, Saturdays 9:00 am–10:00 am
- Beaver Scouts – ages 6 to 8, Saturdays 10:00 am–11:00 am
- Cub Scouts – ages 8 to 10½, Tuesdays 6:45 pm–8:15 pm
- Scouts – ages 10½ to 14, Wednesdays 7:00 pm–8:30 pm
All sections meet during school term time at our Scout Hut on Sheldon Avenue, Highgate.
How to enquire
- Complete the form below with your child’s name, date of birth and your contact details.
- One of our volunteers will confirm whether a suitable space is available.
- Where possible, your child will be invited to attend a taster meeting.
- If you accept a place, we will add your child to Online Scout Manager and send the information needed before they start.
Please ensure your email address is correct and check your junk folder for our reply.
Where a section is full, we may offer to keep your child’s details until a suitable place becomes available. Because spaces and age groups change throughout the year, we cannot always provide an exact waiting time.
Help us offer more places
The number of young people we can welcome depends on having enough adult volunteers.
You do not need previous Scouting experience or unlimited free time. Adults can help weekly, occasionally, on a parent rota or behind the scenes. Full support and appropriate training are provided.
