224 North London Air Scouts welcomes young people aged 4 to 14 from Highgate, East Finchley and the surrounding area.
Each section offers age-appropriate games, activities, badges and adventures that help young people make friends, build confidence and develop skills for life.
Squirrel Scouts
Ages 4 to 6
Saturdays, 9:00 am–10:00 am
Our new Squirrel Drey launches on 12 September 2026. Squirrels play, learn, get outdoors and make new friends through stories, games, crafts and simple challenges.
Beaver Scouts
Ages 6 to 8
Saturdays, 10:00 am–11:00 am
Beavers try new things, work together and enjoy games, crafts, badge activities and outdoor adventures.
Cub Scouts
Ages 8 to 10½
Tuesdays, 6:45 pm–8:15 pm
Cubs develop practical skills, confidence and independence through adventurous activities, community projects, camps and challenges.

Scouts take on bigger challenges, develop leadership skills and enjoy activities including hiking, camping, cooking, climbing, water activities and opportunities to explore aviation.
Young Leaders
Young people aged 14 to 18 can volunteer alongside our adult teams as Young Leaders. This can support Duke of Edinburgh’s Award volunteering while developing confidence, communication and leadership skills.

Our ability to offer places depends on having enough adult volunteers. No previous Scouting experience is needed, and flexible opportunities are available.
